Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 12 oz frozen green beans
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 0.5 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 box savory herb stuffing mix (6 oz)

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Measuring cups
  • Medium bowl
  • Whisk

Method

Preparation
  1. Spray the insert of a large slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker. Season evenly with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Scatter the frozen green beans over the top of the seasoned chicken.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth until smooth. Pour this mixture evenly over the chicken and green beans.
  5. Sprinkle the dry stuffing mix evenly over the very top. Do not stir.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  7. Serve hot directly from the slow cooker, ensuring each portion gets chicken, green beans, and the stuffing topping.

Notes

Do not stir the stuffing into the liquid before cooking; layering it on top ensures the best texture.
